In the morning pick up at your hotel in Bangkok. Drive north to Pak Kret and visit the local market on the river banks of the Chao Phraya. Boat ride with a traditional longtail boat to Koh Kret. The small island is home to the Mon people. Explore the island with a bicycle, passing through orchards and small villages. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the royal summer palace at Bang Pa In. Board a longtail boat and drive along small river communities to Ayutthaya. After arrival in Thailand’s old capital visit the huge seated Buddha at Wat Phanang Choen. Continue to Wat Yai Chai-Mongkol with its large chedi. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. In the evening visit the lively night market.

After breakfast in the hotel visit to the former Royal Palace Wat Mahathat and Wat Phra Mongkonbophit. On the way to Kanchanaburi lunch in a local restaurant. Afterwards explore the Erawan National Park with the impressive seven-tier waterfall. Drive to the historical Hellfire Pass where during World War II a railway line was built to Burma by prisoners of war. Continue the tour by long tail boat on the Kwai River along the virgin jungle to the floating hotel. Overnight at the unique raft hotel, surrounded by dense rainforest. After dinner enjoy a performance of traditional Mon dances.

After breakfast visit the nearby Mon Village. Elephant trek through the picturesque mountain landscape. Afterwards enjoy rafting on the river Kwae downstream. Observe the dense tropical vegetation in this tranquil environment. The tour ends by the hotel on the river banks where you check in. Bicycle ride in the afternoon along a dirt road to an impressive lava cave. After exploring the cave return to the hotel. Time to relax and swim in the river, surrounded by forest. Dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast in the hotel enjoy a boat ride to the beautiful Saiyok Yai Waterfall. Return by boat to the waiting car and visit the smaller, not less picturesque Sai Yok Noi Waterfall. Lunch at a local restaurant. Train ride on the famous Death Railway route to Kanchanaburi. Visit the historic railway bridge over the River Kwai. Drive south to the Phetchaburi Province. Visit the former summer residence of King Rama 4 atop the Khao Wang Mountain and enjoy the splendid view. Continue along the coast to Hua Hin and visit to the old train station. Transfer to your booked hotel in Hua Hin or Pranburi. 

With a surcharge, the tour can end on the island of Koh Chang or Koh Samed.
