Pick up from the airport in Bangkok and transfer to the Hotel. The next days are at your leisure. Explore the magnificent temples and relicts. Discover the bustling Chinatown, the modern shopping malls and relax in idyllic parks.
In the early morning pick up at the hotel in Bangkok and drive along the Gulf Coast to the west. Stop at the salt fields of the province Samut Sakhon. Visit of the traditional floating market in Damnoen Saduak. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards explore the Erawan National Park with the impressive seven-tier waterfall. Drive to the historical Hellfire Pass where during World War II a railway line was built to Burma by prisoners of war. Continue the tour by long tail boat on the Kwai River along the virgin jungle to the floating hotel. Overnight at the unique raft hotel, surrounded by dense rainforest. After dinner enjoy a performance of traditional Mon dances.
After breakfast return by boat to the waiting car. Drive towards the ancient capital Ayutthaya. Visit Wat Phanang Choen with its huge seated Buddha and the large Chedi of Wat Yai Chai-Mongkol. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive along rice fields and plantations to Singburi. Visit a local temple whose surrounding trees are home to giant bats. Continue to Uthai Thani. Cruise along the Sakae Krang River in an old rice barge. Discover the river and the traditional way of life. Drive to the resort and check-in. Dinner with a beautiful view over the lake.
After breakfast drive to Phitsanulok. Visit Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, known as Wat Yai. The temple houses the statue of Phra Buddha Chinnarat, one of the most beautiful Buddha images in Thailand. Afterwards visit a nearby Buddha statue factory. Lunch at a local Restaurant. Drive to Thailand’s first capital Sukhothai. Visit the historical park, an UNESCO world heritage site. Explore its impressive temple complexes, palace buildings and Buddha sculptures. Continue to Lampang, the gate way to the most northern provinces. Enjoy a horse carriage ride through the old town. Admire the Wat Si Chum temple with its carved teakwood pillars and ceilings. Transfer to the resort with check in.
After breakfast drive to the elephant conservation center. During an interesting show the elephants perform some forestry tasks. Enjoy an elephant trek through the forest. Continue along the mountain roads towards Chiang Mai. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive up Doi Suthep Mountain. A staircase leads to the most holy temple of Chiang Mai, Wat Phra That. Admire the view onto Chiang Mai and the surrounding countryside from the temple terrace. Transfer to the hotel in Chiang Mai. After check in explore the historical downtown. In the evening enjoy a classical Kantoke Dinner with traditional northern Thailand folk dances. Afterwards visit the country’s biggest night market.
After breakfast drive along the foot of Thailand's highest mountain Doi Inthanon towards Doi Tao district. Visit the impressive Bhumibol Dam located in the Mae Ping National Park. Enjoy a boat trip on Thailand's largest dam. Lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the scenic lake. Continue to Tak located on the banks of the Ping River. Visit the old town with its traditional teakwood houses and the local market. Transfer to the hotel with check in.
After breakfast drive back to Thailand's central provinces. On the way pass the old garrison town of Kamphaeng Phet. Stop at a local market in Nakhon Sawan. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards visit the ancient Khmer temple in Lopburi, home to hundreds of small monkeys. Continue to Bang Pa-In and visit the Royal Summer palace. Drive to Bangkok airport. Domestic flight from Bangkok to Koh Samui. After arrival pick up and transfer to the resort for check in.
The following days are at your leisure. Explore Thailand’s third largest island with its coconut groves and fine sandy beaches.
In the morning pick up at your resort. Transfer by car/ferry to Koh Phangan. Check in at your hotel. The following days are at your leisure. Relax on the sandy beaches or discover idyllic waterfalls, hidden in the dense jungle. On the last day transfer back to Koh Samui Airport.
