Fascinating tour from Bangkok to the southern provinces of Thailand. The trip leads along the west coast of the Gulf of Thailand. It ends on the shores of the Andaman Sea in Krabi, known for the colossal limestone cliffs. Visit on the way the many natural and cultural attractions, which are known only to a few Thailand travelers. Then the beautiful beaches of Krabi invite for bathing.

DAY 1 Bangkok – Kanchanaburi

In the early morning pick up at the hotel in Bangkok and drive along the Gulf Coast to the west. Stop at the salt fields of the province Samut Sakhon. Visit of the traditional floating market in Damnoen Saduak. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards explore the Erawan National Park with the impressive seven-tier waterfall. Drive to the historical Hellfire Pass where during World War II a railway line was built to Burma by prisoners of war. Continue the tour by long tail boat on the Kwai River along the virgin jungle to the floating hotel. Overnight at the unique raft hotel, surrounded by dense rainforest. After dinner enjoy a performance of traditional Mon dances.

DAY 2 Kanchanaburi – Hua Hin

After breakfast visit a Mon village and then elephant trek through the picturesque mountain landscape. Return by boat to the waiting car and visit the Sai Yok Noi Waterfall. Lunch at a local restaurant. Train ride on the famous Death Railway route to Kanchanaburi. Visit the historic railway bridge over the River Kwai. Drive south to the Phetchaburi Province. Visit the former summer residence of King Rama 4 atop the Khao Wang Mountain and enjoy the splendid view. Continue along the coast to Hua Hin and visit to the old train station. Transfer and check-in at the hotel for overnight stay. In the evening explore the lively night market.

DAY 3 Hua Hin – Chumphon

Breakfast at the hotel and then drive south along the coast to the Sam Roi Yot National Park. Stop on the way at a shrimp farm. Afterwards boat ride to a secluded beach in the National Park. During the following hike to Phraya Nakhon cave are several vantage points. The huge cave is open at the top and for a certain time of the day sunlight falls on the little pavilion. Back to the beach and by boat to the waiting car. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive further along the west coast to the province of Prachuap Khiri Khan. Visit the Khao Chong Krajok, known as the Mirror Mountain. Afterwards stop at the Ban Krut temple with the giant golden Buddha on the hill. Drive to the beach in Chumphon with check-in and overnight stay.

DAY 4 Chumphon – Surat Thani

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to the scenic Hat Sai Ri Beach. The long white sandy beach offers a good view of the small islands. Visit the shrine of the Prince of Chumphon, standing on the summit of a nearby hill. Afterwards drive to Lang Suan and stroll through the local fruit market. The next stop is Chaiya, one of the oldest cities on the western Gulf coast of Thailand. Visit the Phra Borom That Chaiya temple with the ancient Chedi and Buddha relics. In Surat Thani boat trip on small side arms of the Tapi River. Drive along mangrove forests, traditional wooden stilt houses and local fishermen. Check-in at the hotel, followed by a dinner on the banks of the river.

DAY 5 Surat Thani – Nakhon Si Thammarat

After breakfast visit a monkey school. A local farmer teaches monkeys to pick the coconuts from the tall palm trees. Drive south and stop at an oyster farm in Kanchanadit. Opportunity to taste the fresh oysters. The journey continues through orchards and small villages to the Khao Luang National Park. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards enjoy rafting on a mountain stream through the untouched nature, with views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Then relax at Phrom Lok waterfall with the natural pool. Transfer to the hotel in Nakhon Si Thammarat for the night.

DAY 6 Nakhon Si Thammarat – Krabi

After breakfast at the hotel visit Wat Phra Mahathat, one of the oldest temples in southern Thailand. Then attend a shadow play at the Suchat Sapsin house, performed by the old masters. The tour leads to the province of Trang. Chance to explore the Tham Le Khao Kop Cave by boat. Lunch at a local restaurant and then visit a rubber plantation. The next stop is by the Emerald Pool, surrounded by dense jungle. Opportunity to relax and swim. In Krabi visit the Wat Tham Suea, also known as the Tiger Cave Temple. Opportunity to climb 1.200 stairs to the summit.

Final transfer to your hotel.
